ANCESTRAL HEALING WEEKEND
Join us for an intimate and nourishing retreat just for women at the hot springs near Sand Dunes National Park.
We will spend a remarkable weekend together connecting with and honoring our ancestors, as well as healing patterns of ancestral illness.

What You'll Experience
During the beautiful Fall season when the "veil" naturally thins between the Spirit Realm and the Physical Realm, we'll be coming together as a sacred circle of women to engage deeply with our Ancestors: to honor them, and to heal.
Participants will be guided through a series of shamanic journeys as well as two family constellations to clearly identify and transmute lingering patterns of ancestral illness.
The retreat will include two half-day sessions (Friday afternoon and Sunday morning), a full day Saturday session, and two evening gatherings with catered dinners (Friday and Saturday nights).
Participants can enjoy the Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs throughout the weekend, and are encouraged to visit Sand Dunes National Park with the small group on Sunday (entirely optional and not included in the retreat price).
Shamanic Journeys for Ancestral Healing
Sarah Sol will guide participants on a series of shamanic journeys with her drum and rattle to connect more clearly with your well Ancestors, and to receive their guidance and support. We will travel through space and time to more deeply understand our ancestry, and the ancestral patterns we embody in our current life -- both the challenges and the gifts.
Family Constellations for Ancestral Patterns
Leslie Nipps will facilitate two family constellations, in which circle participants will represent different family members and/or aspects of an individual's ancestral experience. During family constellations we connect with our "Family Soul", and reveal hidden entanglements that cause us suffering. We then disentangle ourselves, serving both our own wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of our ancestors.
Shared Ancestral Altar and Seasonal Rituals
Together as a circle we will also construct and tend to an Ancestral Altar throughout the weekend, inspired by the seasonal rituals of Samhain, Día de Muertos, and others.
Sand Dunes Hot Springs
We'll spend the weekend together at Sand Dunes Recreation, close to San Dunes National Park in the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado.
The retreat is limited to women because we will be sharing one large living space, the "Hacienda", where there are both private and shared rooms. We will also gather at the Hacienda for our shamanic journeys and ancestral constellations.
Participants will also have access to the artisanal hot springs pools in the "Greenhouse" at Sand Dunes Recreation throughout the weekend.
Travel suggestions:
- If driving, you'll find Sand Dunes Recreation off of Hwy 17 in the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado: 1991 County Road 63, Hooper, CO 81136
- If flying, you can fly into Denver International Airport (4 hour drive), or Albuquerque International Airport/Sunport (3 hr, 45 min drive). You'll need to rent a car to drive to the remote Sand Dunes Recreation!

Meet Your Facilitators
Sarah Sol is a shamanic healing arts practitioner who tends to patterns of spiritual and energetic illness in individual clients within the context of their relationships, families, and ancestral lineages. Sarah is also a medium and can connect with the spirits of deceased family members to support them in their spiritual/energetic wellness as well. Leslie Nipps, founder of Convivium Constellations, is a Systemic Constellations and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and trainer based in Northern New Mexico. She is the founder of the West Coast Constellations Intensive, and has also been an Episcopal minister for over twenty years. Honoring the Thinning of the Veil
The end of October and beginning of November is a time recognized by many cultures when "the veil" thins between the physical realm and the spirit realm.
This season is naturally supportive for connecting more clearly and deeply with those who came before us: our known and unknown ancestors who have passed on.
We'll be honoring and incorporating traditional practices like Samhain and Día de Muertos by creating and tending to a shared altar throughout the weekend.
Participants are encouraged to bring sacred objects and photographs of ancestors that they would like to place on the shared altar. All religious, spiritual, and cultural traditions are welcome.

"Commuters" drive to participate in the retreat activities each day, and are responsible for their own lodging, either in the numerous RV or tent sites at Sand Dunes Recreation Center, or in a nearby town (Alamosa, Crestone, etc.)
Constellation
$250
Limited to 2 spots.
We are able to offer family constellations to 2 participants during the retreat. If you would like for a constellation to be performed on your behalf, please select this option.
The family constellations will center on the 2 individuals who purchase the additional $250 service, but all circle members will participate as "representatives" in the constellation. Constellations are enormously fascinating and transformative for the representatives as well.
